The largest
and oldest city on Shikoku Island, Matsuyama is the capital
of Ehime Prefecture with a population of half a million.
It is on the beautiful Seto Island Sea coast. The Matsuyama
University campus has forty-nine acres, located half a
mile north of Matsuyama Castle, a mile west of Dogo hot
spring resort which is the oldest of its kind in Japan,
and less than a mile north of downtown. |
